MC8 MULTICHANNEL MONITOR CONTROLLER The TESI MC8 is a multichannel monitor controller. It is designed to work in recording studios and mixing rooms for every existent multichannel format, either on TV, film or DVD production. It allows switching and mixing between two inputs of up to eight channels, adjustment and calibration of monitoring level, mute or solo on each channel, dim and main
mute,and mixdown to stereo or mono. All functions are controlled from a small remote, audio electronics can be located near all other audio equipment. Input and output is made by 25 pin Sub-D connectors compatible with multichannel digitals recorders and TESI routers.
You can work on calibrated monitor levels as required by film and TV production. Two monitor system outputs allows quick switching between two different sets of loudspeakers. It is possible to check compatibility to stereo and mono with the included downmix circuitry. It also gives two constant level stereo and mono outputs.
Mixing of both inputs is made at unity gain and allows premixing work in film and TV by simultaneous monitoring of M&E with no need to use more channels in your mixer.
