The exclusive all-tube circuitry uses a pentode in "SRPP" configuration able to reproduce exactly the same harmonic image that can only be obtained with heads. This sound characteristic can be easily modified changing the balance between the Gain and the Master controls, thus obtaining particular harmonic variations.
Centouno reflects the harmonic transparency of your instrument creating a hot and naturally compressed sound which will become really involving if you increase the gain and make the system work at its maximum. The internal power supply follows the traditional and tested working systems and gives to the sound that particular hot characteristic which is nowdays absolutely necessary, maintaining the silence even at low levels. Centouno has a very open and harmonic Clean channel with an extremely versatile gain. It can be used at its best both for very big dinamics or for a smooth compression. The Crunch channel has two gain levels: with progressive distortion, the sound is pleasant and hot; using "extra" function you can obtain a high saturation and an aggressive but smooth sound. Each channel has its own tone controls. Centouno is also provided with a serial/parallel stereo effects loop. This solution allows to use one or more processors keeping the sound qualities unaltered.
