One of the most sophisticated digital microphone systems ever made. Based on Milabs well-known rectangular capsule.
The microphone uses Milab's rectangular capsule. The two capsule membranes have their own AD-converters. After that the signals go to a DSP. This makes it possible for Milab's unique solution: direct in the microphone mix the front and back signals to free choice of polar pattern. There are also programmes for digital filtering in the DSP. The microphone is controlled and supplied from a separate control unit. The control unit has a switch for standard polar patterns. A computer interface makes it possible to connect the in-house-developed PC-software. With this software the free choice of polar pattern can be set, and then saved in the control unit.
